The building is a single story structure utilizing cast-on-site tilt-up concrete wall panels with a pre-engineered steel framing system and a MR-24 standing seam metal roof.
The building structure is designed to support an interior bridge crane for use in equipment maintenance.
The facility is designed to accommodate the public works administrative staff offices, maintenance facilities for public works equipment and storage for supplies and equipment.
Other significant features include a salt storage dome and greenhouse.
